Walk Slowly – Unknown Path

I view a single thread of wire as a physical pathway for the mind. And this “action of weaving” with a thread of wire is converted into a path—one that exists between chaos and order, emotion and meditation, and isolation and community—guided by intuition rather than intention. On the path, I try to reflect my existence finding order in chaos. In this way, my art practice becomes mapping a pathway that was hidden, waiting to be discovered, and defies conventional understanding—a testament of complex and often uncharted terrain of displacement.
Initially, my work was driven by a need for solitude and meditation. Over time, I have moved toward engagement and expressiveness, seeking deeper contact with other materials and the experiences of others. In Unknown Path 7, I combined wire with hundreds of discarded water bottles, extending the woven “path” into a larger field while subtly addressing environmental concerns.
